Role Overview
My clients is a leading engineering and manufacturing firm based in Wolverhampton, specialising in the aerospace/ defence sector. They are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician with experience and knowledge to be able to diagnosis and repair CNC equipment within machine shop.
Key Responsibilities –
Planned and reactive maintenance of a range of manufacturing equipment to reduce downtime.
Repairing or replacing faults components, parts, or systems
Assessing CNC machinery and equipment to ensure every machine is at optimal performance.
Working with variety of types of machinery and equipment
Communication with other team members or departments to construct maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Requirements –
Proven experience and expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems.
Apprentice Trained in relevant engineering subject
18th Edition Electrical qualifications.
Proficiency in interpreting drawings or planning details to devise effective repair solutions.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
Previous work experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
