Maintenance Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to work for our client based in York. The position is a permanent role and works on a 3-week shift pattern switching between days and nights on a Monday to Friday basis.
Duties and responsibilities
Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance and production teams to achieve maintenance tasks effectively.
Usage of computerised maintenance systems to track stock, job details and PPM.
Liaise with Contractors and suppliers to ensure company engineering standards are achieved.
Ensure company Health and safety standards are always met.
Continuous Improvement and project works to further the business.
The Successful Candidate
Level 3 or higher qualification in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical).
Clear written and verbal communication.
Logical mind set to balance department requirements.
Great attention to detail and time management
Strong IT skills
ATEX knowledge (Preferable but not required)
