Position: Maintenance Technician                         

Location: Somercotes

Job Type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – days & nights

Salary: £44,000 per annum inc shift allowance

Omega have partnered with a leading manufacturer who are on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician to join the team on a permanent basis.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Providing PPM support on mechanical and electrical problems.
• Maintenance & repair of electrical control systems.
• Fault finding on control systems.
• Solve Electrical & Mechanical repairs on extrusion systems.
• Complete electrical & mechanical installation work.

Experience or Qualifications:    

• A recognised apprenticeship or qualification is desirable
• Strong experience with Electrical & Mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Great understanding of electrical or mechanical schematics/drawings/diagrams etc
