MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician, to carry out the daily maintenance on a food-waste, Anaerobic Digestion site.

Our client is a leading business within the Renewable Energy sector and are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team, working on a Panama shift pattern.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out maintenance on Electrical and Mechanical plant on a food waste Anaerobic Digestion site
• Scheduling and managing Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Managing a maintenance budget and cost control
• Overseeing junior members of the team
• Remote monitoring of the AD process
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Proven experience carrying out maintenance on process equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors etc.
• A relevant engineering qualification (HNC/Apprenticeship/NVQ)
• Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
• The ability to work a Panama shift pattern
• Familiar with operations in a fastmoving 24/7 production environment
• A full UK driving licence is essential for this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Renewable Energy business with a salary of up to £40,000 per annum plus other benefits (Allowance/Overtime/Bonus).
