A global organisation specialising in providing maintenance services to the NHS and public sector are seeking an Electrical bias Maintenance Technician to be based at one of their customer sites in the Wolverhampton area.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be required to support the facilities including planned maintenance and reactive works as well as supporting non routine work. The focus of this position will be to minimise the reactive workload through excellent maintenance.

Key accountabilities:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance tasks
• Ensure all planned maintenance is completed in accordance with performance obligations
• Plan PPM tasks, ensuring a practical and efficient approach. Minimising downtime and considering role, competence to complete task and parts availability, arranging contractors etc.
• Inspect sub-contractors work to ensure corrective actions are appropriately followed up
• Complete job sheets
• Participate in an on-call rota
• Proactive maintenance and logging all tasks via the system
• General upkeep of the facility
• Maintain stock/spare parts

Experience/skills required:

• Electrical bias
• Previously worked in a facilities/building maintenance environment (electrical/ventilation/BMS etc.)
• Practical knowledge of Health & Safety
• Ideally an Electrical qualification
