Job Title: Maintenance Team Leader

Location: Mansfield

Shifts: 4 day on 4 off 4 nights on 4 off

Salary: £57,500 + Bonus and Pension Contribution

The Company

My client are an industry leading clothing retailer that is part of a wider group with a multi billion pound turnover annually, the company has had £250 million of investment since the site was opened a few years ago. This site will allow you to lead a team of engineers from various backgrounds with various levels of expertise. With all the recent investment on the site they have recently installed all the latest automation and have all the systems with up to date technology that you wont find at many other places in the UK.

The Role

As a Maintenance Team Leader you will:


  • Run and organise a shift looking at, Driving Health and Safety on site , Prioritising workload and more
  • Technical support of the engineers on your shift
  • Sick, Appraisals with your team and Support hiring when available
  • Liaising with Production team- Looking at Machine availability and limiting downtime
  • You will be in control of Stores management and looking at Risk Assessment Methods
  • Looking for areas of Continuous Improvement and efficiency  
  • Leading a team of 9 engineers with different levels of experience
  • Working on state-of-the-art machinery such as: Autostores, Various conveyor systems, shuttle systems, Packaging equipment, Autobaggers, crossbelt sorters,

The Candidate

I am looking for a Maintenance Team leader that:


  • Has a recognised engineering qualification
  • Has experience managing individuals
  • A strong communicator
  • An individual that has a background in Engineering
