Pay rate: �20.77 to �23.25 per hour depending on experience, negotiable.

Location: Retford, on site working only.

Hours of work: 07:30 - 15:30, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Scheduler for our client based in Retford. You will be in close contact with maintenance teams on site to coordinate the smooth functioning of operations. Ensuring the coordination of outages, managing statutory inspections, and maintaining the integrity of work orders are just a few among the multifaceted tasks this position entails. Additionally, this role involves regular reporting and updating of essential systems such as SAP, all while prioritising safety and adherence to protocols. In essence, this position is requiring a Maintenance Scheduler to hit the ground running with their adept organisational skills, clear communication, and a keen eye for detail to ensure operations run as smoothly as possible.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:

  • Experience within a Maintenance Scheduling role within the engineering industry.
  • Adhere to a high standard of health and safety.
  • Experience in producing reports, statistics and reporting back to senior management.
  • Experience with MS Offices.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Strong organisation skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP (Success Factors) is advantageous.

Role information:

  • Chair the planning meeting on Wednesdays.
  • Chair the pre-planning meeting on Tuesdays.
  • Chair the daily feedback meeting.
  • Maintain daily contact with E&M teams to ensure an up-to-date picture of daily activities.
  • Coordinate all outages except BI and major inspections using appropriate planning tools.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams throughout forced or short duration outages, communicating requirements between teams, liaising with Ops.
  • Send a weekly email with 2-montly look ahead for unit remit submissions.
  • Send a weekly email with upcoming statutory inspections due in the next 2 - months.
  • Regularly review the work bank looking for notifications / work orders that should have been closed out.
  • Chair regular notification and task reviews with departments/individuals as appropriate, to support Team Manager.
  • Statistical reporting where requested to support Team Manager review of work banks.
  • Maintains the safety tour rota.
  • Updates SAP with BFP running hours.
