Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an understanding of paint application looking to play an integral role within a global leading manufacturer, with a competitive package, where you will lead and mentor in best -of-class performance?

As part of the Maintenance team the Paint Robot Technician will be responsible for the day to day running of the paint robot cells. Be the first response to all breakdowns to ensure that all first line Maintenance activities are completed. These paint cells are equipped with Yaskawa Motoman robots. There will be a requirement to do some programming changes, optimisation and maintaining logs of all changes made.

This role would suit a Maintenance Lead Technician or similar from Automotive or Aerospace, looking to work on a variety of technical projects for a prestigious manufacturer that they would be proud to represent.
The Role:

  • Support the Production team in maintaining all of the Paint Shop robots and associated equipment to ensure that volume and quality targets are met
  • Sustain new equipment and refurbishment activities in support of the Facilities and Maintenance department
  • Resolve paint application problems and implement countermeasures
  • Maintaining logs of programming changes and optimisation that is carried out
  • Equipment commissioning support
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and enhancements to paint cells for optimised performance

The Person:

  • Paint Application experience with an understanding of paint application experience
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns, overtime, weekends to achieve production targets
