Pay Rate: £33,000 per annum

A leading textile manufacturer based in Stroud, is recruiting and has an opportunity available to join their Maintenance and Facilities team on a permanent basis. This vacancy is full time on day shift only.
Job Duties- Maintenance Operative:
Involved in various projects within a busy Engineering department
Improve companies' assets which include machinery, equipment, and buildings
Respond to breakdowns, safety issues and any other situations requiring urgent action
Requirements- Maintenance Operative :
Must have an aptitude in Plant Maintenance and General Engineering
Mechanically minded with a good understanding of equipment and tools
Good mechanical skills including welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and drives
Team player
Reliable
Good problem-solving skills
Organisational skills with a sense of priority
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Forklift driving (not essential as training can be given)

Monday to Friday 7:45am- 4:30pm (3:30pm finish on Fridays)
Full training as part of your ongoing development
39 hours per week guaranteed
