Maintenance Operative

Proactive Personnel is currently working with a successful Property Renovation & Lettings company based in Derby to recruit a Maintenance Operative to join their team for what will be a varied role maintaining HMO studio rooms across their portfolio

You will be involved in live works across new projects, both internal and external, as well as works involved in maintenance contracts

The ideal candidate will have general experience in elements of builders' work, drainage, joinery, electrical, plumbing and all elements of finishing as well as general maintenance.

Responsibilities & Experience

• Experience as a maintenance operative, working on general repairs of building fabric, systems & equipment


• Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or potential problems


• Liaison with external clients, attending meetings, face-to-face interaction, emailing aiding and providing excellent customer service to address any maintenance concerns or requests


• Impeccable time-management skills.


• Supervise and coordinate the work of others when necessary


• Capability to stay organised and maintain high levels of workmanship


• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities

Salary - �15-18 per hour

40-45 hours per week, sites are based around the East Midlands. Occasionally reporting & visiting the head office to attend meetings with directors, project managers & property/lettings managers.

Company van, fuel card and smartphone will be provided
