Temp to Perm Maintenance Operative (Multi Skilled/Fabric/Plumbing) - Essex (NHS Contract)
Planned maintenance (PPM's) and reactive maintenance service (including out of hours call-out cover). Is a static position based at Goodmayes Hospital in Ilford. Maintenance to buildings fabric, plant, equipment and alarm systems.
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
This is a mental health care contract (Goodmayes a secure site) so experience in this environment would be beneficial.
On-call and overtime. Standy allowance �75 for the week and overtime paid for a minimum 2 hours per call out at either time and a half if Monday to Saturday or double time if Sunday or Bank Holiday. Plus a day off in lieu if called out on a Bank Holiday. The on-call is 1 in every 2 weeks so potential to earn an extra �2 - 3k, maybe more.
Salary on perm up to �33k so initial temp rate �15.87 plus holiday, NI, pension + margin
Candidate will have access to a pool van which they can use when they are on-call.
Candidate will need a UK driving license (manual) and have held for at least one year, not been banned in the past 3 years and no more than 6 points
Position is subject to a Standard DBS check
