A sporting venue based in Wearside is searching for a Maintenance Operative to join their business on a full time permanent basis.

You will take responsibility for the maintenance of the general facilities across the site, fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and various machines.

Your role

· Carry out a variety of planned and reactive building maintenance tasks across numerous sites

· Undertake general facilities support tasks and managing external contractors on site

· Ensure the function of all swimming pool plant equipment and carry out pool tests in line with the company’s compliance parameters

· Carry out plumbing work, painting, flooring repair, heating and basic electrical repairs

Your experience

· Minimum 2 years maintenance experience

· Experienced working within a commercial environment

· Full UK Drivers Licence is preferred
