Maintenance Operative Part Time - Lowestoft Bingo

It is an exciting time to join the MERKUR Casino UK senior team as the business plans a rapid expansion programme. MERKUR Casino UK currently operates over 200 MERKUR Slots Adult Gaming Centres, 3 Family Entertainment Centres & 3 MERKUR Bingo clubs.Due to a rapid growth within our business we are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will be multi skilled with proven experience working with electricals, plumbing and carpentry.As a Maintenance Operative you will be supporting the delivery and execution of core planned and reactive maintenance across our estate. You will be supplied with a vehicle and the tools required for this role.An eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines is key.Key Responsibilities for this role are:Assist in maintaining property and equipment within the venue.To complete maintenance requests within the deadline.Resolve problems and issues that arise during venue refurbishment.To attend maintenance emergency calls and deal with accordingly.To assist with carpet installations.To communicate with external contractors as and when required.Assist with the layout of gaming machines in venue if required.Occasional working away from home.Required Skills:Full UK Driving LicenseExperience with electrical, plumbing and carpentryIOSH Qualification or similar (or be willing to work towards achieving a qualification)Working knowledge of UK Health and Safety LegislationAbility to work with minimal supervisionHere’s what’s in it for you:28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) increase with serviceContributory Pension SchemeLife AssuranceDiscounts with high street retailers and restaurants through our benefits portalEmployee assistance programDue to the nature of our industry all applicants must be over 18 and be able to prove you have the right to work in the UK.
