Maintenance ManagerRoss on wyeCompetitive Salary (DOE) + Pension + 23 Days Holiday + Bank HolidaysMonday to Friday, 8.30 to 5pm (some flexibility required).Maintenance Manager required for a specialised manufacturer of construction products. The Successful Maintenance Manager will have previous experience as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor from a Manufacturing background, those from FMCG will be at an advantage. You will be a qualified engineer, either electrically or mechanically biased, but will need skills in both. You will have experience with CMMS systems, as well as experience of maintenance techniques TPM, PPM, CBM & RCM. Experience managing, training and coaching others.The Maintenance Manager Role:Ensure work is carried out in compliance with legislation and health & safety protocols.On site management of all maintenance day to day activities. Provide leadership and support to teamPositively reinforce values & maintenance strategy to all employees on an on-going basisManaging the timely workload of the maintenance department while effectively dealing with site prioritiesCreating & maintaining a culture driving continuous improvement programmes throughout the plant.Identifying cost savings and driving cost efficiency programmes within the manufacturing operation.Ensuring all Maintenance personnel are trained & developed so that optimum operational performance is achievedWorking closely with departmental managers and teams to ensure that all issues are dealt with through open communications & teamwork.Mentor & Coach team using RCA techniques to quickly identify root cause of downtime issuesEnsuring SAP CMMS is used to its full potential and departments are actively use system to prevent reactive work. Continuously updating CMMS to prevent future downtimes.Assisting in CAPEX projects as and when required.
