A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE MANAGER at iBIS STYLES GLASGOW GEORGE SQUARE
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.
Taking responsibility for the general maintenance of the property and upkeep of its facilities and the management of all the contractors. Maintenance Manager is there to ensure that jobs are completeled efficiently to ensure that the guest expectations are met during their stay. You will be required to complete the daily jobs list and preventative maintenance schedules with an eye for detail and a passion for fixing things. Do you always have the right tool for the job...!
You must meet time deadlines, take responsability for health and safety on property and keep on track with compliance. You must be organised and excellent communicator.

To succeed in the role of Maintenance Manager, you will need the following qualities and skills.
Experience of working in a maintenance department of a similar hotel is required and knowledge of electrics and heath and safety are beneficial. Computer literacy is also key for the compliance and audit part of this role.
