Jackson Hogg is exclusively supporting a well-known and established manufacturer in the region in their search for a Maintenance Manager. As they grow and expand their operation, the Maintenance Manager will manage the busy maintenance department and support the established maintenance team through new organizational and structural change and support manpower and shift deployment across site. This role is vital to the Operational and Strategic success of the business and they are looking for a proactive, inventive and adaptable individual to take the reins of the Maintenance function on site.





Supporting the existing senior management team, this role is key in ensuring the successful delivery of the Site Maintenance and Facilities strategy.� With a large multi skilled team in place, this role will act as the direct link and go between of the technicians, shop floor and senior management.






  • Health and Safety including all relevant documentation and paperwork

  • Reactive, Planned and Preventative Maintenance strategy and responses

  • Parts and Equipment supply and ordering

  • Site Services and Facilities Maintenance

  • TPM/PPM Scheduling

  • Direct Man Management of the existing maintenance team

  • Support site recruitment activities, especially alongside maintenance team recruitment and ongoing expansion plans

  • External Contractor/Vendor Management

  • Computer based Maintenance Management Systems

  • Working knowledge of Plant, Cranes, Conveyor systems and varied Site Equipment setups

  • To be a supportive and consistent presence to the team





This is a management role involving hands on and hands off elements of man management, planning, and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have worked within a maintenance and/or manufacturing background and have good technical understanding across mechanical and electrical processes.





The ideal candidate will be fully time served within a technical discipline and have demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment. Technical background and bias are open provided there is demonstrable competence across both mechanical and electrical. Evidence of further education such as an HNC/HND is advantageous and experience within a management type of role preferable but not essential. This would suit either an established manager looking for their next challenge or an experienced Supervisor, looking for the step up. �Industry is open but desirable would be a Heavy Manufacturing/Engineering type background such as Metal, Press, Print, Offshore, Machining, Construction or similar. However, the selection process is open.
