Maintenance Manager

We are now looking for a dynamic Maintenance Manager to take charge of our maintenance team in Silver Sands, Lossiemouth, Scotland, IV31 6SP. The successful applicant will be a department manager and a hands on person and equally capable of keeping up to date with paperwork. They will also have a practical background and has either worked on holiday parks before or the building/service industry.

To greet & communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

To promote the company and the Park at all times with a positive approach.

Carry out health & safety checks as per the park agreement

Complete daily, weekly and monthly check lists as required.

To manage staff and work load of department

To prepare and plan all movement of vans, liaising with the Sales Manager on completion and after sales.

To manage and oversee all siting activity while on duty.

To liaise with external contractors for the completion of specific projects and ensure compliance with H & S and building regulations.

Ensure the good working order of all plant and equipment and plan, prepare and implement a planned maintenance schedule for all plant/equipment to keep in good working order.

To manage a budget for all resources within area of responsibility and to monitor and maintain effective control.

While not exhaustive this gives you an idea of the role. If you feel that you have what it takes to work on a busy holiday park and run a hands on team. Then we want to hear from you. The role is a 5 day week in season going down to 5 out of season. Uniform and training will be provided as needed. Bank holidays and weekends are part of the working week. Live-in accommodation is available if required.
