This permanent position is based locally in the West Midlands. Easy commutable areas include Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Birmingham, Walsall, Telford, Stafford, Codsall, Newport, Penkridge and Kidderminster.
The Role:

This very rare permanent opportunity involves working for a market leading and industry renowned electrical, mechanical and mechatronic manufacturing firm with production sites across the UK. This key role is focusing on the engineering maintenance at their large West Midlands manufacturing plant.
Taking a leading role and being hands on in your engineering approach, you will manage a team of electrical, mechanical and multiskilled engineers providing site maintenance, breakdown assistance, installations and faultfinding / repair duties.
Using your proven engineering maintenance background and ideally a multiskilled electrical bias competency, you will lead by example and provide industry leading maintenance to a wide variety or production and manufacturing equipment.

Candidate Requirements:

To be considered for this role you must be qualified to at least HNC level in an engineering discipline and have a proven background in maintenance engineering at a automated production or manufacturing site.
You will have strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills and have vast experience with maintenance, fault-finding, repair and installation works. Any exposure to PLC's would be advantageous but is not essential.
Essentially you will be an excellent people manager and leader of engineers. You will be able to communicate well with your team of engineers and get the best out of them; leading from the front to set and surpass the highest standards of engineering work.
