Shifts: 3 Shift Rotation – Mon – Fri

Salary: £44,000 / £49,000 OTE

The Company

I am proud to announce I am working with one of the largest parcel distributors in the world. They are currently going through a fast growth period across the UK. With a world wide operation they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their newest site in the UK, working on this site will allow you to work on some of the latest technology and automation in a fast moving fully automated environment. Since 2021 there has been over £100 million of investment to take the site to the next level.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer you will:

Be working on various state of the art machines including – Camera Tunnels, various conveyor systems, Sorters and many more
Join a team of 3 on shift including fellow engineers and supervisor
Working on some of the projects alongside your supervisor and continuously looking to improve the site
Have a desktop to be able to look into what tasks you have been assigned for the shift and carry a laptop round to be able to run and stop specific lines
Working electrically on three phase motors, Control Panels, Sensors, Relays, Inverters
Working mechanically on bearings, belts, motors, rollers, gearboxes, drives
Following the recent investment on site there is a new CMMS system has been implemented and you will be working alongside this from your desktop and laptop
On site they pride themselves on keeping on top of their PPMs and having a proactive mentality
The Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer we are looking for:

An Engineer that can work safely electrically and is a specialist within mechanical maintenance
A recognised level 3 engineer qualification
Perform in high pressure scenarios and hit KPIs

An annual salary of £44,000 but an expected earnings of £49,000
