Maintenance Engineer, Liverpool, Salary £45,000 to £50,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to move into management, joining an esteemed Facilities Services business operating from their head office and supporting a team of multidisciplined engineers. This role will involve managing a team of engineers offering technical support, driving team performance and development, and allocating resource to incoming maintenance works.



Candidates applying must have expertise in either mechanical or electrical trades with a background in the Facilities Management industry.



The Maintenance Engineer will be offered:




  • Highly competitive salary up to £50,000 per annum

The Maintenance Engineer responsibilities are:




  • Coordinate reactive calls, enforce SLAs, manage maintenance plans, and oversee projects.

  • Oversee team development, including hiring, appraisals, and coaching.

  • Manage a team of engineers, allocating workload and providing technical support.

  • Collaborate with engineers to schedule works and review completed tasks.



The Maintenance Engineer requires:




  • Technical expertise in mechanical or electrical trades (hold NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications).

  • Proven experience in the Building Services/Facilities Management Industry.

  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
