Maintenance Engineer

Tailored Recruitment Consultancy are working with a processing dairy that are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for their sites in Grassington and Keighley.
The business currently produces and distributes milk, along with other associated dairy products, throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities
To provide electrical and mechanical maintenance to a range of machinery including shrink wrappers, conveyors, generators, chillers and bottling machinery.
Reacting to urgent breakdowns reducing machine downtimes to a minimum
Electrical repairs to motors, drives, inverters, encoders, boards, wiring, switches, relays, contactors, sensors
PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace back faults.
Recording and communicating all findings
Assisting with projects and the installation of new plant
Communicating effectively with the engineering manager
Assisting with developing and implementing line improvements, new installations, offline repairs, planned maintenance and any other tasks deemed appropriate by the engineering manager.

Electrical qualification or willing to undertake training to gain qualification
