Company Profile
An well-established surface engineering company are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for maintaining the onsite equipment and ensuring the efficient running of the site. This opportunity is suited to someone with a positive work ethic who is keen to take a valued role within a reputable company.
Role Description
Perform and develop planned preventative maintenance practices across the site on electrical and mechanical equipment
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings to ensure efficient maintenance practices
Attending to breakdowns, fault finding and rectification.
Working within a small team of engineers
Undertake mechanical fitting and fabrication
Working to health, safety & environmental regulations
A working knowledge of heat treatment processes (desirable)
Skills and Qualifications
A background in heat treatments /processing or a heavy industrial environment
Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings
Knowledge of PLCs
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
