We're on the lookout for a Maintenance Engineer to take up a permanent position working in Barnstaple, North Devon.

What tasks does this role include?

• Ensure that the range of manufacturing machinery is running efficiently within the factory
• Installation of production and plant equipment
• Assist with scheduled maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Assist with other mechanical/electrical and operational departments when required.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Produce concise and accurate reports
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures

What will you bring to the role?

• Electrical/mechanical engineering experience
• Experience working within an engineering team
• Recognised qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering
• Working knowledge of Electrical safety systems.
• Trained in IEE Wiring Regulations - 18th Edition, C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing (Desirable)
• Training & in-depth knowledge in Electricity at Work Regulations.
• Great communication skills as you will need to communicate with people at all levels
• Have a positive and flexible attitude.
• Be able to use your own initiative.
• Be able to work alone and as part of a team.
• A desire and willingness to grow, learn and develop in the job.
• Motivated individual
