Maintenance Engineer, Luton, Salary £48,000 - £50,000
4on - 4off  Days and Nights
As Maintenance Engineer you will be working within a team responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of equipment in a state-of-the-art factory. You will be working on food process machinery and will be dealing with fault finding on various PLC's, you will also be responsible for responding to breakdowns as well as planned and preventative maintenance on all the food process and packaging machinery. You must have a good understanding both electrical and mechanical faults and equipment. 
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be a truly multi-skilled engineer with a recognised qualification in electrical engineering and a sound mechanical appreciation. You will be a highly motivated individual and be able to react quickly to breakdowns as well as working within a PPM schedule and continuous improvement environment. 
The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have some the following qualifications:
BTECH/ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi skilled Engineering qualification, C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro - technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance, Time served apprentice, HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering
