Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000

Shift: Double Days Role

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

I'm currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position at a High-Speed manufacturing company in the Chelmsford area. I'm in search of a Maintenance Engineer, with either an electrical or mechanical background but overall, a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an engineering qualification. In the role the Maintenance Engineer will be ensuring that all repairs are carried out in line with company procedures, perform breakdown repairs, make sure all PPM is curried out in line with the manufacturers. The Maintenance Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical support quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime. Skills required for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Have an engineering qualification.
• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer either electrical or mechanical bias.
• Ability to PLC Fault Find is beneficial.
• Ideally hold 17 th or 18 th Edition wiring Regs.
• Response to equipment breakdowns.
• Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
• Experience with any types of Welding.
