A specialist manufacturing who work in the waste and recycling sector are looking to bring on 2 Maintenance Engineers. You will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance across the site.
They are looking for 1 x Mechanical Maintenance Engineer and 1 x Electrical Maintenance Engineer. They would be interested in speaking to Engineers from the Forces that are looking to progress and develop their skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance across the site.
  • Perform planned and routine maintenance assessments.
  • Overhaul, upkeep, and repair of all plant machines to encompass mechanical, electrical and pneumatics activities.
  • Fault finding, testing and the removal or adjustment of existing fittings, fixtures, and parts.
  • Carry out any emergency maintenance required to ensure that when breakdown situations do occur disruption is minimised.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer
  • Mechanical or Electrical skills
  • Experience in conveyors, shredders, and recycling equipment an advantage
  • FLT and MEWP training an advantage, although training available on site
