My client, a leading facilities maintenance company based out of Southampton are looking for an experienced mobile maintenance technician to join their team on a permanent based.



In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance of our clients' buildings.Responsible for a variety of tasks related to painting, electrical work, plumbing, and other general maintenance activities. Your skills and attention to detail will be instrumental in upholding our high standards of service delivery.



Responsabilities: 




  • Perform a range of maintenance and repair tasks, including painting, electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry.

  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients and prioritise tasks based on urgency.

  • Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard, in compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with the broader facilities management team to coordinate tasks and achieve seamless service delivery.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, materials used, and time spent.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance problems, offering effective solutions to ensure long- term functionality.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.



Experience:




  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or hanyperson.

  • Proficiency in painting, electrical work, plumbing, and basic carpentry.

  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols & regulations within the maintenance sector.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a practical approach to addressing maintenance challenges.

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.

  • City & Guilds, BTEC, and NVQ qualifications in related fields are advantageous
