Maintenance Engineer (Mech/Plumber Bias)

Our client who is one of the leading companies with the FM sector are currently looking to employ a Maintenance Engineer (Mech Bias) on a Temporary full time basis based on a static site in Poole
The main purpose of the role will be to provide Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive works across the site.
Monday to Friday working 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures.
- Provide cover for absent colleagues as appropriate to maintain the service
- Carry out duties in accordance with safe working practices within statutory and Company guidelines.
Be able to maintain, service and repair a wide range of the building services listed below:
- Heating and domestic water services
- General Electrical services such as lighting and power
- Air handling units
- Low voltage electrical distribution system and switchgear
- Emergency standby generating plant
- Fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
- Electrical control systems
- Building Management System
- Manage Plant Rooms, including Steam Pipes
Person Requirements
- Fully qualified and experienced within a mechanical engineering discipline. (NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing Minimum)
- Experience of building and facilities maintenance.
- Multi Skilled with a Mechanical bias.
- No criminal record
