Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to �38,000 per annum

Summary:
Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for an exciting career opportunity? My client is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of electrical systems and maintenance.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Recognised apprenticeship/industry qualification in Electrical Installation or
    Maintenance i.e. City & Guilds Level 3.
  • Up to date 18th edition I.E.E. wiring regulations.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably in an industrial or
    commercial setting within a facilities management organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits & schematics.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices related to electrical maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and provide clear
    maintenance reports.
  • A valid & full UK Driving Licence is an essential requirement for this position.

Day to Day Duties:

  • Conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM), inspections, and troubleshooting on electrical equipment, machinery, and systems.
  • Identifying and repairing reactive electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and
    maximising equipment efficiency.
  • Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, including lighting, power
    distribution, and control panels.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance team members to address electrical and
    mechanical issues.
  • Assisting in the development of maintenance plans and procedures to enhance
    system performance and safety.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with
    safety regulations and company standards.
  • Participating in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
