Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer seeking a new challenge in facilities maintenance? Our esteemed client, a leading facilities management company based in Bath, is actively seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Role: As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems within commercial and industrial facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks on electrical systems to minimise downtime.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborating with fellow team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and optimize facility performance.
  • Recommending improvements and upgrades to enhance the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems.

Requirements:

  • Full qualification as an Electrical Engineer, accompanied by relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, particularly with a focus on electrical systems within commercial or industrial settings.
  • A comprehensive understanding of electrical regulations and safety protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.
