Maintenance Controller

We are seeking a full time Maintenance Controller to join our friendly Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) in Doncaster.
This is permanent post and will require the post holder to work shifts (5 on, 5 off, 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off) and be available to work early and late shifts:
Early shift 06:00-18:00 (12H) Late Shift 12:00 – 22:00 (10H)
The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
De-briefing crew in event of aircraft defects, offering technical assistance as required and relaying information to maintenance to enable systematic trouble shooting.
Ensure all known defects are rectified or managed IAW MEL or other approved data and maintenance is performed by appropriately approved MROs.
Regular and accurate communication of aircraft and mission system status to Operations and Business Units via applicable platforms.
Ensure Ops software, Fleet Status Board/Team and Availability Tracker kept fully up to date.
Co-ordinate defect investigation and AOG recovery in cost effective, efficient, and compliant manner.
Co-ordinate between Operations, Business Units and Maintenance to maximise aircraft availability and minimise any disruption to tasks and contracts.
Plan, prioritise and organise the daily line maintenance workload, including provision of required spares/tooling/manpower via the appropriate Part 145s.
Short term maintenance planning - control and plan all, Daily Checks, Routine Maintenance, ADD rectification and Out of Phase Maintenance.
Maintain planning tools/database, as applicable, to ensure the information is updated in a timely manner.
Control of fleet ADDs, provision of spares and timely rectification.
The following skills, knowledge and experience are essential for this role:
Experience of working in a similar role or setting
Strong knowledge of Part M and Part 145
Excellent IT and communication skills
Be pro-active and comfortable working in a busy environment
It is also desirable that candidates have knowledge of small piston / turbine aircraft.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK and hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
