Are you ready to join a leading provider of bespoke mission-based aviation solutions? Our client is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Controller to join their engineering department. This full-time position supports lifeline flights for communities in the west and north of Scotland and Maritime Surveillance patrols based out of Inverness. You will work out of the Milton Keynes office with occasional travel to Scotland for site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage scheduled maintenance, liaise with contracted maintenance organizations, and generate/review work packages.
Plan defect rectifications, including Acceptable Deferred Defects, and liaise with maintenance organizations and operations.
Provide technical follow-up with Part-145 and OEMs.
Report occurrences to regulatory bodies, internal and contracted organizations, and OEMs as per regulations and company procedures.
Provide feedback to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager.
Liaise with suppliers.
Create/review work packages and review and file sector record pages.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
Aviation technical background.
Experience in scheduled maintenance within operational constraints.
General knowledge of Part-145 and Part-M/CAMO Regulations.
About the Role:
Work with a range of aircraft, including BAe 146-301, F406 Caravan II’s, and BN Islanders.
Hybrid role with regular visits to Head Office in Milton Keynes.
Occasional travel between operational bases and maintenance providers within the UK and potentially overseas.
