Machinist - CNC Programmer (Permanent)

A long-established and highly successful heavy machining company requires CNC Machinists to be based at their Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL7 site
Hours of work are regular days, 8.00am to 16.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 13.00pm Friday, totalling 37 standard hours, with the expectation of at least 11 hours overtime each week, paid at time and a third.
Roles available:
Manual Vertical Borer setter/operator
Candidate must:
Have experience of setting and operating manual vertical boring machines or have a turning background.
Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
Have the ability to self-inspect.
Be willing to work overtime when needed.
Manual Horizontal Borer setter/operator
Candidate must:
Have experience of setting and operating manual horizontal boring machines or have a milling background.
Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
Have the ability to self-inspect.
Be willing to work overtime when needed.
CNC Horizontal Borer setter/operator/programmer
Candidate must:
Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC horizontal boring/milling machines using the Heidenhain control system.
Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
Have the ability to self-inspect.
Be willing to work overtime when needed.
CNC Vertical Borer setter/operator/programmer
Candidate must:
Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC Vertical boring/lathe machines using the Fanuc control system (This machine also used Cimco CADCam for programming.)
Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces.
Have the ability to self-inspect
Be willing to work overtime when needed.
