Machine Operator

Kinetic Industrial are recruiting for a Machine Operator for a Collyhurst based client. Our client are one of Europe's largest manufacturers of coated paper, and have been established for over 150 years! They are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join their close knit team.
This is a full time, temporary to permanent position based in Collyhurst. As a Machine Operator you will be required to work 38 hours per week; Monday to Thursday - 8am to 5pm, and Friday - 8am to 12pm.
As Machine Operator, you will be:
* Setting up the machines at the beginning of the day
* Making adjustments as and when necessary
* Completing quality control checks throughout the production process
* Ensuring the machines run smoothy
* Lifting heavy items onto machines
* Machine minding
* May be required to move items using a FLT
* Completing general warehouse duties as and when required
Requirements:
* Previous experience in operating machinery - full training will also be given
* A mechanical aptitude
* An FLT license is desirable, but not essential
* Able to work on your feet all day
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
As a Machine Operator, you will receive:
* A permanent job after 12 weeks
* �12.52 per standard hour, �18.78 per hour for any overtime
* Full training
* 38 hours per week with a half day on Friday!
