Machine Operator

Are you a Machine Operator / Tool Setter / Machine Setter / Machinist looking for a new role within a leading manufacturer in Stoke on Trent. I am recruiting several positions for this client. Working Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm one week and then 2pm - 10pm the following week rotating. Hourly rate is dependent on experience but ranges from �11.70 per hour to �14.50 per hour.

As a Machine Operator, your role will involve:

• Setting up machines, configuring them according to specific job requirements, adjusting components and machine parameters
• Operating machines, closely monitoring them to maintain efficiency and quality, and resolving any issues to help meet production targets
• Maintain the machinery, which will involve cleaning, lubricating, and replacing any worn parts
• Identify any issues when machines malfunction
• Ensuring safety protocols and regulations are adhered to
• Quality checking - measuring, testing and visually inspecting parts and products to ensure they meet the required specifications
• Maintain accurate documentation for the machine settings, production runs, maintenance tasks, and any issues encountered during the production run

As a Machine Operator, you will have the following experience:

• Worked as a machine operator, or machine setter before
• Worked within a manufacturing environment setting machinery
• Experience of quality-checking components after manufacture
• Willingness to learn new processes
• Adheres to health and safety
