Labourer/Machine Operator

• Location: St Helens
• Job Type: Temporary with a view to becoming permanent
• Salary: �12.50 per hour
• Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 2.30pm

We are seeking a dedicated Labourer/Machine Operator to join a team in a busy engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have valid counterbalance/FLT/Reach licence.

Training can be provided to those without experience of handling 2.5 to 8 ton FLT's as long as FLT License is valid. This role requires a flexible working attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Operating Re-roll machine
• Operating FLT's to load and unload HGV's.
• Moving steel pipes in and out of a Fabrication workshop and packing them.
• Painting of Fabrication as required.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy yard and truck.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations at all times.
• Performing other duties as needed within the works.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid counterbalance and reach FLT licenses.
• Experience with 2.5 to 8 Ton FLT's (desirable)
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• You will spend the majority of your time working in the Yard so ability to work in outdoor conditions is essential.
• Flexible working attitude to perform various duties.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
• Strong adherence to Health and Safety practices.
