 My client are a well establised manufacturer and are seeking a Tool Setter to work in their busy production site based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

The Role:

Working either by yourself or within a small team, you will be responsible for the safe loading/unloading/running of our Injection Moulding Machines

Plastic injection moulding tool setting/tool changes to conform with safe working practices and procedures

Perform tool changes/setting and the application of ancillaries in line with production requirements

Maintain a safe, healthy, clean and tidy environment for yourself and others

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working with injection moulding machines, be technically minded and have the ability to learn new tasks and adapt to the role.

Key Skills:

A thorough understanding of Injection Moulding Setting/Operations

Experience with the operation of Negri Bossi machinery (preferred but not essential)

Attention to detail

An understanding of the quality process

Methodical approach

Team player

Good communicator
