POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team at MAC.
As an Assistant Product Marketing Manager, you will manage and deliver exciting new Lip & Eye category launch campaigns and support the Product Marketing Manager on the wider product marketing activities.
To ensure we take key learns from each activity and plan for excellence in execution, you will be in close contact with makeup artists and cross-functions to track results, key insights, and feedback for future activity.
As a beauty lover, you will be a market expert, and keep a close eye on competition and category trends to report monthly on innovation in the market, best in class execution and opportunities for the brand.
As a highly organized individual with a flair for creativity and excellent communication skills, you will work with suppliers and internal teams to project manage the creation of our local lip sets from packaging concept through to execution on counter.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about beauty, keen to develop their career in the Product Marketing field and is energized working in an exciting fast-paced environment.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES
MARKETING CALENDAR
Lead the maintenance of the Marketing Calendar for Lip & Eye category, ensuring that on counter dates, promotion plans, and results are accurate and up to date.
NEW LAUNCH SUPPORT
Pull and analyse new launch sell through data and collect Artists' qualitative feedback about new launches and promotional initiatives to determine needs for reactive launch support. Support with insight generation to guide strategic planning around innovation for Lip & Eye
Build toolkits for Lip & Eye launches, presenting the vision to the brand and ensuring that the 360-launch support plan supports the forecast ambition. Post launch, lead the post campaign analysis to track and analyse success of each support lever to optimise future planning. Collaborate cross functionally with wider teams to ensure successful new launch campaigns and provide any assistance from product marketing. Work closely with the global team to ensure new product samples are arranged in time for key retailer strategy meeting seasons. BASIC LINE
Create an accurate forecast for all new Lip & Eye launches, with the guidance of the Product Marketing Manager. Ensure forecasts are submitted in timely manner, by receiving alignment from internal stakeholder and relaying the final approved forecast volume to the demand planner. Work collaboratively with Earned Media team to support MAC VIVA GLAM campaigns (lipstick that contributes 100%* of the proceeds to charity) *Excluding VAT PRICING
Build pricing proposals for new Lip & Eye launches, ensuring that pricing is loaded into SAP 3-6 months ahead of on counter dates and align key stakeholders. Propose strategic RRP for all new Lip & Eye launches, to increase brand's competitiveness in the market.
Support the Product Marketing Manager on the annual price review & product line edit for Lip & Eye categories SAMPLING
Support the Product Marketing Manager on strategizing and execution of Lip & Eye related samples, to drive the brand business. PROMOTIONS & KITS
Lead locally produced Lip & Eye kits' production, from creative briefing to redressing; analysing key results, insights, and feed back to build product, packaging, and P&L proposals to target customers during high traffic moments to drive consideration and incremental sales. Support the Product Marketing Assistant to track and analyse the success of each promotion and build performance re-caps to showcase the results and key learns. Lead locally produced promotional goods / Gift with Purchases to support 5 star Lip & Eye launches. ADMIN & BUDGET MANAGEMENT
Support Product Marketing Manager on locally produced sets' COGs budget maintenance: all POs to be raised before activity commences & all spend to be aligned with budget / over and underspends agreed with the Product Marketing Manager (& Marketing Director). DATA ANALYSIS & PRESENTATION
Support the Product Marketing Assistant on monthly Circana market data reporting to internal stakeholders.
Attend seasonal retailer strategy meetings to present new launch product overview and strategy to retail partners, as the Lip & Eye category lead. PROJECTS / WORK YOU WILL BE PART OF
