M&E Shift Maintenance Engineer£48,000VictoriaOur Client is looking for aM&E Shift Maintenance Engineer tobased at a Luxurious Complex located in South West London. The successful candidates will be Electrically or Mechanical biased with a proven track record in Commercial Building Maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site, you will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance within the complex. In return the company are offering a competitive salary of up to £48,000, overtime, further training and career progression.You will be working for a large maintenance contractor in the building of blue chip companies; as such you must be client facing with good communication skills. This vacancy is workingfull Continental Shift PatternBenefits:Salary £48,000OvertimePensionPrivate HealthcareProgressive TrainingStructured Career Paths into ManagementResponsibilities:To carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company's PPM and task schedules as directed by the site supervisor.To undertake PPM activities in a professional & safe mannerUndertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or Management TeamProduction of technical and situational reports as requiredTo communicate clearly and effectively with the client's team and support the Site Supervisor as necessaryTo ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.Proactively assist the site supervisor to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information when extra works are identifiedTo update/close completed Reactive & PPM tasks on the site CAFM SystemEnsure engineering standards are maintained to maximise efficient operation and reliability of plant and associated systems.To ensure that both Client and contractors Health & Safety procedures are always followed.Attend team meetings/briefings as requestedTo provide accurate timesheet information weekly and on timeTo proactively work towards the continued success of the business with a positive approachTo escalate any major site issues or incidents to the site supervisor asap once identifiedTo manage sub-contractors whilst working on siteRespond to Building Management System alarms, and effect emergency repairs as neededTo issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work Systems.Deputise in the absence of Shift LeaderRequirements:City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (Mechanical & Electrical installation) or recognised equivalent17th or 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Registration or Recognised equivalentApproved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building ServicesExperienced in Electrical Installation including Electrical Testing & InspectionL8 Training and a good understanding of domestic water systems ExperienceTwo years' experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environmentA good working knowledge of trades such as plumbing, HVAC systems, controls, and refrigerationSound mechanical and electrical knowledgeExperience in managing PPM management systemsExperience in fault diagnosis and rectificationTwo years' experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environment within high-end commercial/mixed developments
