Currently, they are in search of a M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.



About the Role:



Our client is currently on the lookout for a skilled M&E Quantity Surveyor to become a valuable addition to their team. In this role, you'll be at the helm of the financial intricacies of M&E contracts, meticulously crafting cost reports, and fostering strong collaborations with clients and stakeholders alike. With a chance to dive into a variety of projects spanning across London and the southeast, this opportunity promises an exciting journey ahead.



M&E Quantity Surveyor key responsibilities:




  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients

  • Preparing and submitting payment applications along with supporting information

  • Assessing and negotiating variations in project scope

  • Procuring subcontract packages and managing subcontract agreements

  • Conducting monthly valuation of subcontractor applications for payment

  • Finalizing project accounts

  • Monitoring all project costs and ensuring project margins are safeguarded

  • Identifying potential risks and opportunities

  • Drafting and submitting claims or notifications as per contract requirements

  • Providing monthly financial reports





About the Benefits and Rewards:




  • Up to �75,000 P/A (DOE)

  • Pension scheme 5%

  • 25 days plus bank Holidays





Candidate Requirements:




  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Electrical Quantity Surveying

  • ONC, HNC, BSc, or similar qualification in Quantity Surveying

  • Proficiency in financial management, budget analysis, and cost estimation

  • Ability to prepare monthly valuations and variation quotations.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to attend client and site meetings.

  • Willingness to travel between Essex and London locations as required.
