Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Banking Associate specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions to join growing London team. This role will focus specifically on the infrastructure or industrials sector, where you will play a pivotal role in executing complex transactions, providing strategic insights, and driving value for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough financial analysis, including valuation modelling, financial statement analysis, and company benchmarking within the infrastructure sector. Assisting in the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation support. Conducting industry research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential investment opportunities. Collaborating closely with senior bankers and other team members to develop client presentations, pitch materials, and marketing documents. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, investors, and other key stakeholders within the infrastructure sector.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred. 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A transactions within the infrastructure sector. Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to various stakeholders. Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting tight deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
