Loss Adjuster – Insurance Services - Guildford, Surrey - £120,000 per annum 



Hello Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Loss Adjuster for a leading insurance firm based in London. 



As a Loss Adjuster you will be responsible for investigating assessing and negotiating major and complex insurance claims (over £100k)  on behalf of clients. To work closely with the in house support technicians and liaise with the Risk Management team.



The job is office based with travel to client sites



Responsibilities:




  • Conduct investigations into insurance claims to determine the extent of the loss or damage

  • Assess the validity of claims gathering relevant evidence such as documentation, photographs and witness statements

  • Analyse policy terms and conditions to ensure accurate coverage determination

  • Liaise with policy holders, claimants, witnesses and other relevant parties to gather information and facilitate the claims process.

  • Provide clear and concise reports detailing findings assessments and recommendations

  • Negotiate settlements with claimants or their representatives adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain accurate records of claims files correspondence and all documentation

  • Stay informed about industry trends best practice regulations through own ongoing CPD.



Requirements and Experience:



Bachelors Degree




  • CILA and Chartered accreditation

  • 10 years plus experience working as a UK Loss Adjuster

  • Experience working with major and complex claims

  • Great communicator in person and in writing with excellent relationship building skills

  • Up to date knowledge of insurance procedures and policies

  • Valid drivers licence and own car
