flow of goods and services, optimising deliveries for our customers. Benefits:• Hybrid 3 days out of 5 (Once trained)• Customer Service Bonus• Monday - Friday Responsibilities Include:• Providing first class logistics service to our customers across Aberdeen, Dundee and Fife.• Management and handling of all support calls and emails, including full investigation, replication.• Identification of user training issues.• Training on the use of our internal and external software solutions.• Considering and planning the most effective route for freight.• Organising the transportation of freight between intermediate destinations.• Tracking the movement of freight using our bespoke software.• Reporting back to clients, keeping them up to date with the progress of goods.• Deciding on the best way to package stock, taking into account factors such as weather, terrain and type of goods.• Taking appropriate measures for the movement of delicate goods and advising customers accordingly.• Checking countries’ legal requirements to make sure all the appropriate documentation (e.g insurance and customs forms) are valid and compliant.• Staying up to date with relevant political activities and legislation that might impact the transportation of freight.• Organising payments or processes transactions on behalf of the client, such as freight charges. Essential Skills/Experience:• A flair for problem solving and troubleshooting.• Ability to multi-task and prioritise jobs in a constantly changing environment.• Attention to detail.• Friendly, enthusiastic and a good team player.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.• Ability to remain calm when faced with difficult situations.• Self-motivated and willing to take the initiative.• Organised, capable and highly efficient to ensure prompt response times.• Previous experience of Microsoft Office 365 with high proficiency. Desirable Skills/Experience:• Knowledge of the shipping / logistics industry.• Previous experience of helpdesk support or sales in a customer facing environment will also be considered
