OverviewLogistics PlannerLocation: Enderby, UK3T was formed in the year 2000 as a transport management service provider specialising in European road transport solutions. We have developed a transport management system to integrate and automate as much of the transport order fulfilment process as possible. The system has been developed to provide added value to 3T’s growing customer base. We apply our extensive transport expertise to continuously challenge and improve client services and cost ratios as well as provide the most cost effective transport solution on a given day.Our Mission is to provide our clients with the most innovative market leading technology led transport solutions to radically reduce cost, provide service excellence and a platform for sustainable continuous improvement.About the role:Responsible for the transport planning process around the customers standing operating procedure (SOP) and manage the daily compliance and performance of the carriers.Build relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to ensure we provide excellent service Managing loads through entire process making adjustments and changes as needed and escalating non-conformance Create plans and make bookings for returns and agreed collections including cost implications. Ensure loads are optimised to full capacity, assigning loads and liaising with carriers. Manage cost adjustments and ensure processes followed. Manage the process and organisation for special transport ensuring cost implications are fully investigated and agreed Ensuring data is accurate and reporting of inaccuracies and costs. Ensure any inaccuracies in data quality are reported and resolved. Monitor costs and invoice quality ensuring issues are rectified appropriately. Generating and managing Fleet plans Monitoring carrier adherence to invoicing and planning process and escalating issues as required to carrier management. Reporting, administering and resolving non-compliance issues on a daily basis Ensuring that the service provided is in line with the customer SOP and any deviance is reported Achieving all service level agreement targets and KPIs for the contract Generate accurate operational reports on a weekly and monthly basis Reporting fluctuations in volume or profile change contrary to forecast and escalating the findings to line manager.About you:Experience of working in a planning function within logistics or a similar field Able to work under own initiative and self-motivatedAdditional European languages are preferred, French, German or PolishExperienced in working in a face paced environment and able to prioritise tasks Ability to form relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally Ability to instil feeling of ease, integrity and trust with the client Excellent IT Skills Analytical and problem solving skills Good presentation, communication and Interpersonal skillsWhat’s in it for you?We are a fast growing yet established global software company.
