They are looking for someone with Warehouse/Stores experience to take on the role of a Logistics Operator.





Key responsibilities include:




  • Receive deliveries from suppliers and other sources to check that goods are correct and book them into the system accurately.

  • Determine inspection requirements.

  • To decant the goods if required.

  • To create labels for packages in the consignment.

  • To scan documents into the system and maintain record of paperwork.

  • To inform the recipient that goods have arrived and should be collected from Goods In

  • To locate receipts in the correct location.

  • Pick shop orders, sales orders, customer orders, shortages, and material requisitions.

  • Liaising with stores leads to request and send stock from offsite storage.

  • Where qualified, load and unload vehicles to both incoming and outgoing deliveries.

  • Keep the stores clean and tidy to promote good Health and Safety practices.

  • Pack deliveries and shipments accurately.

  • Pick, collate and pack any items that require dispatch and ensure all procedures and processes are adhered to.

  • Daily checks on the Forklift and document findings.

  • Be able to work cross functionally between sites to assist when required.





Requirements for the role:




  • Warehouse/Stores environment experience

  • Experience of stock counting.

  • Numerical proficiency/use of data

  • Physically fit and capable of moving boxes and items by hand, as well as climbing steps/ladders

  • Forklift license (desirable, not essential)

  • DGN trained (desirable, not essential)
