Logistics Operative

Frontline Recruitment Weymouth are seeking a Logistic Operative to join our client in Weymouth.
As a Logistics Operative you will work as part of the logistics team and be responsible for the processing of material receipts, stock handling, kitting to production and shipments to customers or our other global warehouses.
Key Tasks:
Control packing materials and accessories for printers and finished goods.
Keep work areas clean, tidy and hazard free.Act as a banks-person to control safe loading/unloading of vehicles.
Unloading/loading of bulky/palletised deliveries
Locate and control stock in our MRP system.
Kit and issue stock to meet production demand.
Follow company procedures and adhere to safe working practices.
Control packing materials and accessories for printers and finished goods.
Prepare printer packing materials and accessories for production.
Pack printers in-line with packing specifications.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Forklift truck experience
Computer literate with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Experience of stock control systems (MRP/ERP, VMI, Kanban)
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Pay: £12.02 per hour
