We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all logistical aspects of our high-end residential projects, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of materials and equipment to site.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive logistics plans for each project, taking into account project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.Coordinate the procurement, transportation, and delivery of materials and equipment to site, ensuring that all items arrive on schedule and in accordance with project specifications.Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and delivery companies to negotiate favorable terms and ensure that all deliveries are coordinated effectively.Manage on-site logistics operations, including the allocation of storage space, the organization of materials, and the maintenance of accurate inventory records.Monitor and track the movement of materials and equipment, identifying any issues or delays and implementing corrective actions as necessary.Work closely with the project team, including the Project Manager, Site Manager, and Quantity Surveyor, to ensure that logistics activities are aligned with project requirements and objectives.Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols throughout the logistics process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.Provide leadership and guidance to logistics personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.Requirements:Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably within the construction industry and with a main contractor specializing in high-end residential projects.Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and processes, with experience managing complex supply chains and coordinating multiple deliveries simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and site personnel.A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective solutions.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software.Competitive salary commensurate with experienceOpportunities for career advancement and professional developmentA supportive and collaborative work environmentCompany benefits package including pension scheme and health insuranceHow to Apply: If you are interested in joining our team as a Logistics Manager, please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you would be a great fit for this role.Create a job alert and receive personalised job recommendations straight to your inbox.
