Logistics Manager, Permanent, £28000 - £32000 per annum, 28 days leave, pension, parking
Our client is looking for a highly experienced Logistics Manager who specialises in imports and exports specifically around USA, Poland, and Germany.
The Logistic Manager will collaborate with both the sales team and accounts department to ensure supplies are delivered to customers promptly. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining operating policies on general logistics and product procedures.
Your role as Logistics Manager will include :
Optimise and maintain inventory based on demand and supply chain activities.
Managing and maintaining an accurate inventory of product storage warehouses to maximise stock turns and cash flow.
Maintaining an approved supplier list and carrying out regular audits.
Setting up and maintaining schedules for inbound and outbound shipments
Maximise contract profitability and control costs.
Key Experience for the Logistics Manager
A background within Logistics management
Industry experience with imports and exports
Result orientated with a clear focus on key business objectives.
Strong written & verbal communication skills with an ability to deliver an accurate & concise message.
