Site Safety:
Assist in creating and maintaining safe systems of work to ensure tasks are carried out in line with the company health and safety policy at all times.
 
Where necessary perform site inductions for operatives and provide a safe working environment for all operatives.
 
Carry out safety briefings, work area safety assessments, safe to start assessments, toolbox talks and any other H&S paperwork required.
 
Take on the responsibility for keeping the site clean and tidy in line with site requirements and legal obligations.
 
Ensure appropriate PPE is worn by all operatives at all times whilst on site.
 
Be responsible for and supervise all material distribution and removal of waste from site.
Monitor and report any safety issues as they arise and assist in closing them out.
 
Site Materials and Plant:
Accept delivery of materials and plant by signature on site and ensure all is in good order and quantities are correct.
 
Ensure appropriate quantities of materials are organised for delivery at the relevant time by checking stock of materials on site and speaking to on site operatives and the site manager to co-ordinate what materials are required and when.
 
Co-ordinating the distribution and storage of materials on site with operatives, site management and our clients.
 
Manage the off-hire of plant and ensure all the relevant components are returned and the relevant paperwork is completed and signed for.
 
Qualifications Required:
CSCS Card in Supervision
NVQ Level 3 Supervision
SSSTS Qualification
Asbestos Awareness
PASMA( Towers/Low level/Stairs)
Manual Handling Training
CPCS Forklift
