Logistics Import and Export Controller

Kinetic Recruitment are currently resourcing for a Logistics Import and Export Controller for a well known Engineering company in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This is a temp to perm contract based on site in Heaton.
As Logistics Import and Export Controller your main responsibilities will be to;
Provide shipping quotes
Use the company's ERP system to process shipments
Liaise with freight forwarders and shippers
Interface with couriers, freight forwarders and HMRC
Track shipments and advise customers of delivery timelines
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience within an Import and Export type role
Use of import/export software
Knowledge of shipping and freight forwarding
Experience with an ERP system
This is a full time role Monday-Friday.
